Around The World: BRAZIL ........... Part 1

Brazil, officially the Federative Republic of Brazil, is the largest country in South America. It is the world's fifth largest country, both by geographical area and by population. It is the only Portuguese-speaking country in the America and the largest lusophone (means someone who speaks the Portuguese language) country in the world.
Bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the east, Brazil has a coastline of over 7,491 kilometers. It is bordered on the north by Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname and the French overseas department of French Guiana; on the northwest by Colombia; on the west by Bolivia and Peru; on the southwest by Argentina and Paraguay and on the south by Uruguay. Numerous archipelagos form part of Brazilian territory, such as Fernando de Noronha, Rocas Atoll, Saint Peter and Paul Rocks, and Trindade and Martim Vaz. It has borders with all other South American countries apart from Ecuador and Chile.
Brazil was a colony of Portugal from the landing of Pedro Álvares Cabral in 1500 until 1815, when it was elevated to United Kingdom with Portugal and Algarves. The colonial bond was in fact broken in 1808, when the capital of the Portuguese Kingdom was transferred from Lisbon to Rio de Janeiro, after Napoleon invaded Portugal. The independence from Portugal was achieved in 1822. Initially independent as the Brazilian Empire, the country has been a republic since 1889, although the bicameral legislature, now called Congress, dates back to 1824, when the first constitution was ratified. Its current Constitution defines Brazil as a Federal Republic. The Federation is formed by the union of the Federal District, the 26 States, and the 5,564 Municipalities.

Vibgyor Vehicles, a Kolkata based bike manufacturer, is planning to launch two new bikes in India. Vibgyor already has a product named Vibgyor Gallop in a few states in India. Now the company announced to launch two bikes - Vibgyor Shark 150cc and Vibgyor Hunter 125cc. These two bikes were launched by Sourav Ganguly at Delhi Auto Expo, January 2010. The Vibgyor Shark has been developed by the company's own R&D team and has used domestic components. As far as exterior appearance of the Vibgyor Shark is concerned, it is having killing look and sure to win bike lovers heart. The designers at the company has done a great job to provide Vibgyor Shark a distinctive look. They pasted some eye-catching graphics at fuel tank and rear side panels. The front view of the Vibgyor Shark is aggressive and eye-soothing. It's front fender has got body colour with black tail. Headlamp cluster houses bigger headlamp and black tinted wind shield. Rear view mirrors are in black shade and mounted on handlebars.

Movie Review: "Golmaal 3"

Movie Review “GolMaal 3” (2010)

Genre: Comedy
Director: Rohit Shetty
Language: Hindi
Star Cast: Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Kareena Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Shreyas Talpade, Tushar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu and others

Golmal is back, Rohit Shetty is back with another dose of crazy comedy of Golmal. This is a third movie in the hugely successful Golmal series. This movie is as expected nothing different than prequels Golmaal and Golmaal Returns. It is as mad comedy as them if not madder. Comedy is Rohit Shetty’s specialty, in this movie he might not excel but maintained his standard. Ajay Devgan seems to be his favorite actor or may be lucky for him as Rohit cast him in his every movie. It seems Ajay Devgan gave the action and enjoys doing comedy now or just riding the new comedy wave in Bollywood today. Rohit Sheety repeated same star cast of “Golmaal Returns” except the actresses other than Kareena Kapoor are out. And Kunal Khemu and Mithun Chakraborty is added to the team.

“Golmaal 3” will remind you a Basu Chatterjee’s movie “Khatta Meetha” in 70’s starring Ashok Kumar, Pearl Padamsee, Rakesh Roshan and others. It is one of my favorite movies. Although movie is released as a sequel to Golmaal and Golmaal Returns the story of this movie bears no similarity to it. There is no connection whatsoever other that same star cast. The movie is set in Goa, as most of the Rohit Shetty’s movies are.

The movie is typically made for festive season; it is nothing but mad entertainment. All the actors are simply brilliant. Kareena Kapoor bagged bigger and more important role in this part. Although movie is good it is not as good as first “Golmaal”. If I have to rate this movie I will give it 7 out of 10.
