Legendary Actor: NILU PHULE

Nilu Phule most celebrated Villain of Marathi Movie industry. He is a legend in the Marathi language movies and Marathi theatre.

He had acted in around 250 Marathi and Hindi movies during his film career.

Starting his career in a Marathi folk play 'Katha Aklechya Kandyachi', he went on to act in numerous Marathi movies, beginning with 'Ek Gaav Baara Bhanagadi' during 1956, and in most he portrayed a cunning and villainous village-based character.

He had been diagnosed with Cancer and subsequently passed away on July 12, 2009.
